Drew's Robotics Program is dedicated to bring a love of science, technology, engineering and math to students in East Atlanta. It is our mission to bring "The Sport of the Mind" to every aspect of the East Lake Community.
Charles R. Drew Charter "Drew Charter" School Robotics was founded in 2009 by Mr. Boon Boonyapat and fellow teachers and community volunteers. They saw great success with FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) robotics in Metro Atlanta.

OUR MISSION
Drew Charter School Robotics is designed to give students an interactive approach to applied science, technology, engineering, arts and math (STEAM). Drew's robotics program goal is to prepare student's with the skills they need to excel in the 21st century by exposing them to design thinking, computer programming & computational thinking, engineering competencies (iteration, prototype development, design reviews, project planning...), contextualized mathematics, 21st century skill sets (teamwork, cooperation and collaboration, time management, resource allocation, etc.)
We inspire a rigorous college and career relevant experience through STEAM Robotics in the everyday classroom in a format that can impact each and every student.
